21 Days of Reflection #MentalHealthChallenge

Here's a new challenge for all digital residents living on cellphones and electronic devices. Since October is the month for Mental Health , let's see how many can manage to complete the #21Daysof Reflection challenge. This initiative is a 3 week mindfulness program dedicated to raising awareness about mental health illnesses and encourages personal development & mental wellbeing for all social media users.

One of the most common and biggest contributors to poor mental health is social media, nowadays most people spend more than half the day scrolling through posts and stories, going through a lot of content both good and bad digging for something that will strike a nerve to bring that sense of pleasure or to simply pass the time, maybe even to avoid awkward moments. This generally gets us through the day but continuous exposure builds up harmful and unhealthy habits that become destructive in the long-term which leads to a variety of mental health issues such as Anxiety, Addiction, ADHD, Anti-social behavior, Depression etc.

This challenge is going to help users become more conscious of how they use these electronics before they go down a spiral of toxic behaviors and self-sabotaging belief systems that affect their quality of life. For the whole 3-weeks we will be jotting down what we feel and taking time to introspect our different emotional states for increased self-awareness. Those that wish to participate in the challenge will be required to post each day for the full 21 days using the hashtag #21DaysOfReflection and they should also hashtag the number of the day of reflection on their post.

During the process participants will be able to observe their feelings and see what triggers them to feel a certain way which helps them identify repeating patterns that they may or may not have been aware of previously which can help provide clarity and give valuable insight that they can use to improve their emotional well-being. We are not always mindful of our actions and this can affect our personality and attitude towards life as well as how we address situations we are faced with. This program will help with our day-to-day routines, interactions and relations. Here at the STREETS Talk Family we want everyone to be the best possible version of themselves and we value your privacy , so if you wish to be a part of this challenge but you don't feel comfortable publicising your journey you can submit your entry anonymously and we will keep your identity safe & protected just contact us on our email info.streetstalk@gmail.com and tell us you would like to join the #21DaysofReflections on the subject line.

All those that complete the challenge will get a chance to be featured on all our platforms and get to tell their story to our beloved audience. They will be interviewed and profiled on what they do and how they can be contacted.

Let us all heal. Join the challenge for your own mental health.
